Understanding a client in a holistic context including intersectionality, cultural and systematic factors that influence their perception, life experiences and presenting concerns.

I consider myself a generalist and enjoy working with a wide variety of presenting concerns. I am particularly interested in working with people who carry marginalized identities. I am specifically interested in working with international students, Asian Americans, LGBTQ+ populations, students with career concerns, trauma survivors, first generation college students and underserved students. I am also interested in career counseling.

In addition to my clinical work, I am passionate about supervision and training. My supervision theory is based on developmental theory with strengths based and multicultural lens. I tend to bring up diversity issues to discuss with my supervisees.

Outside of work, I like drawing, traveling to get to know different cultures and enjoy the natural beauty. I also love music and singing.
