Application Process

A completed application for the doctoral internship at the Student Counseling Services of Iowa State University consists of the following materials and must be received no later than November 5, 2018 for the 2019-2020 training year.

As an APPIC member institution, SCS uses the APPIC Application for Psychology Internships (AAPI).  Hard-copy, mailed applications or e-mailed applications are not accepted. Please go to the APPIC website to find out more about the AAPI Online.  Be sure your AAPI also contains the following information:

1. Current Vita.
2. Transcripts for ALL your graduate coursework.
3. Three letters of reference from professionals who can describe your clinical work, your ethical integrity and other assets judged to be positive qualities for a practicing psychologist.
